You left for work on time and you get behind someone going at turtle pace so you get in the left lane to pass the turtle only to get behind a slower turtle who refuses to move over to the right lane. Frustrating to say the least.

My question is this. Do these people have any idea what the left lane is for? It’s like they have decided to tell everyone that they are king of the road and they will drive in the left lane doing 45mph on a 70mph highway as long as they want to.

Come on people; you only stay in the left lane if you are passing or going faster than the other guy. Screw your attitude and move over to the right lane. I do not understand why the police don’t pull these people over and tell them to stay in the right lane UNLESS YOU ARE PASSING.

And because you slow drivers are determined to stay in the left lane only because you feel like it, you get drivers riding your bumper and then what happens. You turtles continue to tap your brakes to get them off your bumper and then everybody is so irate by this time and it causes a chain reaction of anger.

Does anyone out there feel like I do? I just do not get it. Maybe, just maybe a driver needs to pass you because they need to get to a hospital where their family member has become very ill or maybe their daughter is in labor. Regardless, the left lane is for those passing or going faster and all other drivers need to stay in the right lane doing less than the speed limit.
